Now accepting entries into the 3rd contest of 2019. The songwriting contest’s winners and finalists from each of the ten categories will have their material sent to record labels, publishers, management companies, promoters and many other music industry insiders for further consideration.

The Songwriter Universe “Best Song Of The Month” Contest honors and publicizes the top songs which are submitted to Songwriter Universe each month. This contest not only spotlights the winning song and songwriter, but also showcases the Top Five new songs that we hear each month. Many pro songwriters, A&R execs, publishers and producers check out the winning songs each month. To enter this contest it cost $12.00 for one song, $20.00 for 2 songs, $30.00 for 3 songs and $40.00 for 4 songs. The thing is though; You get all kinds of stuff If you win! The top 5 winners each month get stuff! So, worth looking into!

ASCAP/ THE AMERICAN SONGWRITER LYRIC CONTEST
Entry fee is $15 per song.
Prizes: The winner of each of six bi-monthly contests receives a Paul Reed Smith acoustic guitar and a Sennheiser microphone. The top four winning lyrics and 10 honorable mentions for each contest are printed in the corresponding issue of American Songwriter and on the website. One overall, Grand Prize winner per year receives airfare to Nashville to record a professional demo and a “Dream Co-Write” with an established artist/writer. Past co-writes have included Rodney Crowell, Ashley Monroe, Chris Stapleton, Bobby Braddock, Lee Brice and Mary Gauthier.
